Illinois Venture-Investor-Entrepreneur (IVIE) Forum

The IVIE Forum was created to promote success for Illinois alumni and friends who are Venture Capitalists, Private or Angel Investors, or Entrepreneurs (alumni, students and faculty) and to provide this community with an organized means to engage with the entrepreneurs on campus who are seeking more intellectual and capital resources to grow the entrepreneurial ecosystem on campus.

Within Silicon Valley there are hundreds of Illinois alumni who are active VC’s, Angels, Private Investors and Entrepreneurs. All are relying on trusted networks to gather and deliver information needed for deal flow, partner relations, or for opportunities to pitch for funding. The IVIE Forum provides a trusted network of contacts that cannot be found together in any other network. The founders of Silicon Valley’s newest startups as well as some of the most successful startups in the history of Silicon Valley combined with experienced investors of all levels, who have built startups to the stage of successful acquisitions and IPOs are connected both virtually and in high-level networking experiences.

The goal of this forum is to:

  • Create a community of Illinois alumni who are VCs, Investors and Entrepreneurs

  • Enable deal flow through this community

  • Build a bridge to the startups on the Urbana-Champaign campus

If you are interested in joining IVIE, please request to join the LinkedIn Group and let us know how you are involved in a start-up as founder or worker or your investment experience in technology start-ups. This group is only open to Illinois alumni.
